This beautiful dorje amulet is made by Tibetan artisans who live in Nepal. It is brass.
 The vajra (वज्र), meaning "diamond" and "thunderbolt", is an important symbol and ritual instrument in Hinduism and especially in the Buddhist tradition vajrayāna ("way of the diamond") to which it gave its name. It represents indestructibility and immutability that overcomes all obstacles.
