This beautiful statue of Cundi is made by the craftsman of Nepal. It is made of brass and a small part is silver plated.
Cundi is a bodhisattva. The word "Cundi" literally means "extremely pure". She is the mother of all Lotus-class deities in Tantrism. Cundi appears with eighteen arms on a lotus flower and is sometimes referred to as the "Goddess of Seventy Million Buddhas".
It is widely accepted that Cundi can bring many benefits, even for lay practitioners.
