The vajra (वज्र), meaning “diamond” and “lightning”, is an important symbol and a ritual instrument in Hinduism and especially in the vajrayāna (“way of the diamond”) Buddhist tradition to which it gave its name. It represents the indestructibility and immutability that overcome all obstacles.
This ritual object is made of an alloy of different metals. It is made in Nepal.
