This statue of White Tara  is made in the city of Patan in Nepal which is known for the quality of the work of its craftsmen. It is made of brass and then covered with a partition of stones (turquoise et corail) which  are glued by hand to give the statues a beautiful appearance.
 
She  is a form of Green Tara considered a deity of long life and also of healing when seriously ill.
