This Green Tara statue is made in the city of Patan in Nepal which is known for the quality of the work of its craftsmen. It is made of brass then covered with a partition of stones (turquoise, coral and lapiz-lazuli) which  are glued by hand to give a beautiful appearance to the statues.
Green Tara is a female bodhisattva. She protects from fear. She removes fear from any danger, whether physical or mental and helps during difficult times.

Signification : Protection against all dangers; compassion, wisdom, good  health.
