This Tibetan Tingsha is made of brass by the craftsman from Nepal. It consists of two cymbals joined by a leather strap. The cymbals are struck together, producing a clear, high-pitched sound. It is engraved with asthamangala.
Traditionally, Tingsha is used in prayer and rituals by Buddhist practitioners. Today, it is often used along with singing bowls and other instruments in meditation, music, and sound healing.
